Steering Committee Meeting 4 (Oct 2017)

The fourth meeting of the TPOS 2020 Scientific Steering Committee was held 17-19 October 2017 in Seattle, Washington (USA) at NOAA’s Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory.  The meeting also included a Technical Workshop on the Western Pacific Tropical Moored Array.

 


TPOS 2020 SC-4 Session Desired Outcomes

  1. Annotated outline of the 2nd Report: coupled weather prediction and sub-seasonal; BGC/ecosystem enhancements; model evaluation; 1st report implementation;
  2. Review Task Team (TT) progress, as identified at SC-3/1st Report; new actions/tasks for the upcoming year;
  3. Identify how TTs, SC, and Transition & Implementation TT will coordinate activities in the 2018-2020 timeframe;
  4. Continue to identify opportunities to engage TPOS stakeholders
